New kid on the block
Tamara and I have noticed this chick hanging out around our apartment complex lately, she must be new?
Although Helmeted Guineafowl are considered a common sight, they are apparently endangered in some parts of the country, so I think we’re lucky to have them share our ‘hood. This little one is the last remaining from a much larger brood, and getting a decent shot of her is tricky! Mom and dad keep a very close watch, this is cat country after all.
