I have often wondered what has happened to Tim Curren. He won the Billabong Junior Challenge in 1997 and was a clear standout on the surf film Alley Oop, documenting that event. Alley Oop was my favourite video back in high school, but since then I hardly ever heard of the guy again. Today I stumbled upon this recent clip of him doing some sort of rodeo flip.

I just picked up my second custom made surfboard ever (last one was back in ‘98).
6′5″ x 19 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ with fin control system shaped by Jerm for Vudu in Cape Town. Looks like a rocket, I can’t wait to get it wet!
